Rail update August 2019
- The Ash Street underpass is scheduled for completion in October, 2019.
- The Laurel Street underpass work will start after the Ash Street underpass is complete.
- Replacement of the 5th and 6th Street rail bridges will start in the fall of 2019, with week-long closures of 5th Street and 6th Street, unlike the original plan, which would have been over budget. Traffic will detour to 11th Street or to MacArthur Boulevard.
